The Justice Department inspector general referred five FBI employees for investigation into whether their politically-charged and hostile text messages and instant messages violated FBI code, according to the damning inspector general report released Thursday.
The report, titled A Review of Various Actions by the Federal Bureau of Investigation and Department of Justice in Advance of the 2016 Election, revealed that the messages appeared to mix political opinion with discussions about the MYE investigation. MYE, or Midyear Exam, was the code word used in the FBI to refer to the investigation into Hillary Clintons private email server.
Some of these text messages and instant messages mixed political commentary with discussions about the Midyear investigation, and raised concerns that political bias may have impacted investigative decisions, the report read.
The report noted that it was specifically concerned about text messages exchanged between FBI officials Peter Strzok and Lisa Page that potentially indicated or created the appearance that investigative decisions were impacted by bias or improper considerations.

That one is my favorite!
I find myself feeling like this poor guy way too often these days.
Enjoy it!
NAMES????
And Schiff For Brains is right....Horowitz is a WHORE who most likely got a big fat check from the Clinton Crime Family Slush Fund!!
So will they get to go to “education classes”?
What’s Sessions plan now? Time to bake more Keebler Soft-Batch Chocolate Chip cookies? But of course!
And there were Freepers thinking IG Horowitz was going to be fair, even though he let Holder skate with Fast & Furious.
Lynch told Comey not to call it an investigation but a matter,Comey said that’s why he decided to take matters into his own hands. So that was not political?
The whole dam thing was political
No point in investigating.
May as well write the exoneration letter before investigating, if there must be an investigation.
The entire DOJ is too corrupt and biased to investigate anyone or anything that comes out of the IG report. Americans will have no confidence in anything they do on these matters, moving forward.
We need a Special Counsel. Period.
Melt the phones!!!!!!
And nothing will come of any of this. Can’t wait to hear the FBI’s presser at 5:30 this afternoon. It’ll be CYA for miles... .
“We need a Special Counsel. Period.”
We need Nuremberg-style treason trials and hangings on the national mall.
“We need a Special Counsel.”
Phooey on an SC. Take it directly to a Grand Jury.
Yeah! How is it that only the Strzok / Page text messages have been released?
Probably about the same time that Obama’s birth certificate is found.
This is a case of the fox investigating who robbed the henhouse. The only way to fix all this is to primary RINOS out and have the new elected officials appoint honorable people to justice positions. That still doesn’t guarantee results ala Sessions.Otherwise we’re just urinating in the wind.
Maybe it’s a typo. Maybe it’s really “50.”
Or it’s probably “500.” Because “5” surely cannot be right.
“Take it directly to a Grand Jury.”
You trust the DOJ to bring a case and prosecute?!?!? Under Sessikns, Rosenstein, and Wray??? After all this????
NFW.
Outside entity only. SPECIAL COUNSEL!!!
President Trump: STEP UP! Fire Sessions. Fire Rosenstein. Fire Wray. Fire Mueller. Give them all one week to provide substantive indictments (they've certainly had the time to prepare) and release all documents un-redacted to Congress -- or face IMMEDIATE TERMINATION.
It doesn’t have to be a GJ in DC. One is going on in AR now. Get an “outside entity” Federal judge in a different state that has even a small a tangential connection with the subject.
How many times do they need to investigate this stuff before they figure it out?
Seems redundant to me, but then again, it is the federal government.
This reminds me of what a boss taught me about getting things done at my job.
He said some people spend all their time aiming (investigating), but never fire the shot (prosecute the crime). "Aim, aim, aim, aim, aim, aim" but never pull the trigger.
He said, "I want you to aim (investigate) and then fire the shot (prosecute the crime). You can adjust your aim (charges) afterwards."
