When in doubt, the Dems go to Hollywood. That's where so much of their cash and cultural cachet comes from.
The only problem with that plan is seriously thinking that Hollywood can help you connect with the rest of the country.

Nothing like a widely popular program watched across the country to help you connect with ordinary HBO subscribers. Trying to talk to Roseanne, her producers and writers, would have a sane plan. But it's much more fun to hang out with the producers of shows you watch and like.
The group has discussed targeted voter registration programs with visiting Democrats, as well as the party’s framing of issues ranging from abortion rights to gun control. In one recent meeting, a Midwestern senator sought advice about how to discuss gun control with conservative-leaning voters in his or her state, multiple participants said.
Who knows how to frame gun control for conservative audiences better than Hollywood?

I was going to say, Hollywood - An industry that makes billions off gun violence in movies, but is pro-gun control?
Remember that story from Politico a few days ago saying that the Democrats are turning the Hollywood to “get the message out”? And how bad the timing that was after Robert DeNiro’s profane public appearances?
Right??? Such a bunch of hypocrites!!!

Hollywood glorifies gun play. They are part of the problem.
Personally I would much rather see Hollywood totally reject guns in movies, while American citizens retain their 2A rights.
They could just stick to glorifying LGBTQ characters and stories...Maybe cast David Hogg?

As for the Hollyweird types and the gun control freaks, my answer to them is very simple:

Nothing new. I remember a few anti-gun TV shows after John Kennedy was killed, but when Bobby Kennedy was murdered the news media and TV shows absolutely went berserk!
TV and movies were constantly flooded with anti-gun, anti-hunting movies for almost twenty years. Every character on TV got to vent his spleen on guns.
