Nothing new. I remember a few anti-gun TV shows after John Kennedy was killed, but when Bobby Kennedy was murdered the news media and TV shows absolutely went berserk!
TV and movies were constantly flooded with anti-gun, anti-hunting movies for almost twenty years. Every character on TV got to vent his spleen on guns.
