With 48 percent of the vote in, it's starting to look like Arrington could win the GOP nomination without a runoff.
Arrington has 52 percent of the vote to incumbent Mark Sanford's 45 percent, according to the AP.

Let’s give Arrington a shot. She has Trump’s full endorsement.
Many of Trump’s detractors have come around since the election. Mentally ill Sanford has not.

The vote reporting from South Carolina is very slow this evening. I want to say that Katie Arrington is winning her race to defeat Mark Sanford, but it is a bit too early to shout out her victory.
