Fox News host Shep Smith on Tuesday slammed President Donald Trump for how he conducted himself at a historic summit with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un, accusing him of giving Kim everything he wanted while receiving virtually nothing in return.
“America demanded complete, verifiable, irreversible denuclearization. … There’s no guarantee of that, not even words to that effect,” Smith said of the agreement signed between Trump and Kim, which says North Korea will work toward denuclearization but doesn’t offer specific details on how this will occur.
The Fox News host decried Trump for offering his signature to an agreement that only offered “generalities.”
Smith also ripped into Trump for agreeing to halt joint military exercises between the US and South Korea on the Korean Peninsula.
“[Kim] wanted the photos, the seat at the table, he wanted the legitimacy that came with the event, the handshake with America’s president,” Smith said. “And he wanted those military exercises with the Americans and the South Koreans that happen every year to stop.”
“Kim Jong Un got it all, for actually doing nothing,” Smith added.

At a press conference following the summit, Trump described Kim as a “talented man” who loves his country and people.
Smith seemed appalled by the way Trump complimented Kim, describing him as a leader “who has committed crimes against humanity” ruling over the most “entrenched land in all the world.”
The Fox News host reminded the audience the UN has characterized Kim as the leader of one of the most brutal and repressive regimes in “modern history.”
What Shep doesn’t realize is, this is actually more of that 8th dimensional chess, the same game Trump played with the Democrats and Repubicans in Congress when he supposedly gave them everything they demanded by signing that finance bill which included funding for Planned Parenthood and a prohibition on building a wall on the southern U.S. border. Wow, how that deal backfired on the entrenched Obama liberals! Yeah, you’re real stupid, Shep. You just don’t get it.

Supposedly Smith is Fox’s “hard news” guy. But, in reality, he acts and speaks as though he’s Fox’s Resident Snarky Leftist Opinion Agendanista. I think that Shep lost his way along the Hershey Highway.

These partisans are certainly predictable in trying to trash an unprecedented moment in history.
The sanctions that brought him to the table are still in place. If Kim doesn’t come through he will continue to suffer. At this point he certainly got his ego stroked but that will wear off quickly if he reneges.
What part of the fact that this communique was the beginning of the final agreement, which has actually already been worked on for months, do these people not understand?

Because they didn't. The same source that the Washington Times used - South China Morning Post - and which said the missiles were removed on June 3rd was reporting yesterday that the missiles were back. Assuming they were ever removed to begin with.
