I hear what you’re saying. Definitely no. I do think it would be nice to be able to scale them down as a general principle; of course not neglecting any readiness. I’m trusting Trump and Mattis to make that call.

President Trump had been up 24 hours when he did his interview with George Stephanopoulos. He mentioned it in the interview.
When he did this speech it must have been about 26 plus hours.
I hope POTUS gets plenty of sleep on his way back to the United States.

we have done exactly what you said you are working towards. And it does change one’s point of view in a way i didn’t anticipate! It is freeing to not ever need to kowtow to anyone for financial reasons. Needing money, a job, alone, it does make your mindset feel a little more dependent and less sure footed.
We reached our goal and then moved out of Mexifornia to a rural property where we could go galt . Irregardless of how much money I had saved, I would still want to live this exact same lifestyle. I never needed money or materialistic things to be happy, a hike, a sunset, the garden, animals. Of course with this administration, I’d be fine with paying into it. We did all this before Trump got elected. On the other hand Social Security is still heavily socialized, so it feels good not to pay one more penny into it. Because I calculated what did we would get back about 10 cents on the dollar. If we lived long enough.
Although in trumps case, I think he has always had this frame of mind and point of view. Even when he was bankrupt and down to nothing, I don’t think he ever felt beholden! He is an amazing man. He really did pull himself up by his own bootstraps, and he always knew he could do it. Where as I have always had doubts.
Also our amount of money is nothing compared to his. But I need a whole lot less! Hubby likes his toys, but is willing to make do with what he already has to give up that 40 hour work week. Or 60 hours in most cases.But it is a wonderful free feeling to know it is there in case we need it. Of course there are always things like financial collapse, hyperinflation, etc. But that’s where self-sufficiency comes in.

This man is going to end the Korean conflict, denuclearize the NORKS, and bring prosperity to North Korea. Glad he mentioned that some things will take time, but getting rid of Kim's nukes is the priority and is going to move quickly. Also, like that the US will be the main inspectors and logistics coordinators, while giving some crumbs to the UN.
President Trump will go down in history for eventually bringing down the dictatorship of N.K.
