President Trump and Kim Jong Un have concluded their official schedule of meetings in Singapore, meetings Mr. Trump said he thinks went "better than anybody could have expected." Mr. Trump also said he and Kim will be "signing" some sort of document.
But it's unclear yet exactly what that means. A press conference is scheduled for 4 p.m. local time, or 4 p.m. EDT, in which more details will come forward.
As they began, Mr. Trump said he thinks he and Kim will have a "terrific relationship," and Kim, through a translator, said North Korea had to overcome a number of "obstacles" to get to this moment.
The stakes are high -- the U.S. seeks nothing less than the complete and verifiable denuclearization of the Korean peninsula, and Kim wants to see the sanctions on the North eased....

And as everyone knows, that is of prime importance here.
they’re already spinning up the ‘oh, noooos! he’s moving too fast!!’ line. They can’t say much else after the smackdown from Pompeo yesterday.
“Leftist heads exploding all over America”
CNN, CBS, ABC... breaking news : “Trump-Kim summit an total disaster. Trump miserably failed to fire Kim”.
Ain’t that better than eating bark.
President D Trump

Yep, and the U.S. media are pissed because it wasn't leaked to them in advance so they could figure out a negative spin.
He signs a BIGLY agreement...and we still have no idea what's in it.
Any guesses?
Here's some of mine: (1) Formal end to the Korean War
(2) Release of the U.S.S. Pueblo
(3) General agreement on denuclearization (with no formal commitments by either side)
(4) General agreement to normalize relations upon #3
I am going to go out on a limb and say that tonight the President of the United States, Donald J. Trump, also became the leader of the world.
Good article, long. Thanks!
So after our round and dinner I will hook you up with Stormy Daniels. That is one happy Korean. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9bZkp7q19f0
To end the Korean War .
As I read you comment, I switched to CNN... "Trump as sowed the seeds of chaos worldwide..." Blah, blah, blah...
Was that ever in doubt? Okay, the G7 would disagree but they are at best showing up "present". With the likes of Trudeau, they are not impressive.
I figure (1) steps to end war, (2) denuclearization, (3) normalize relations. Step 1 is more of a stand down since the truce has been in place since 1953 and will require bringing in South Korea, Japan, and others.
Probably something to do with ending Korean War is my guess.
Too optimistic?
Account for POWs /MIA and also abductees from Japan.
You are so right! He never goes into this phase of negotiation without all bases covered. What a strange world that some think he doesn’t prepare....they don’t read his books...it’s all there.
Oh you have no imagination. Imagine this. Trump finishes that triangular albatross. Name it the Un-Trump Peace tower. US and allied war vets get to stay there for $10 a day. Other people fair market rates. A daily trip to the Pueblo. Free for vets but again fair market value for others. Trump brands that silly little golf course they have and builds a real one. Lib heads would be like popcorn in the microwave about 2 minutes in.
It was called comprehensive.
The devil is in the details.
If it has robust mechanisms in place to ensure North Korea keeps its commitments, then this agreement will mean something.
That remains to be seen.

Great photo. Both men loved and tried to emulate their fathers. Trump surpassed his dad in scope of operation. I believe Kim likes the father in Trump and with his Western high school education/acculturation, could become a much better man than his own father. It’s right there in his face, the admiration, but with a streak of stubborn pride.
