Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) on Monday blasted Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) for drafting an authorization for the use of military force (AUMF) in North Korea should President Trumps forthcoming meeting with Kim Jong Un go south.
Lindsey Graham is a danger to the country by even proposing ideas like authorizing war with Korea, Paul said on CNN.
So that should be something that is seen as naive and seen as something that really serious people shouldnt even be discussing, he added.

Rand is on Trumps side with most things. He is more of a libertarian idealist trying to play the game to change things. Trumps is moving things toward those ideas but slowly. His father was a visionary.
Rand Paul seems to be against using force anywhere, any time, like his father.
I’m inclined to agree with him about Graham, but there are circumstances in which I could see taking down Little Rocket Man.
A smart negotiator takes nothing off the table, including nuclear war if absolutely necessary.
It worked for President Reagan.
I am not sure I have ever said this before, but “Good for Rand Paul”.
We absolutely must wrest control of the GOP from the Bush League Republicans if we want to keep our country.
Let's try to make sense out of your statement. Okay. You claim if talks fail, the US goes to war. So you do not want talks to fail, cause that statement appears to be a threat if there is failure. Fine. But why threaten war as a method to provoke peace ? Is that not kinda self defeating ? Would it not be better to state sanctions will continue if talks fail ? Is that not more diplomatic? So my summary is that you have no clue what you are actually saying. And that you are just flapping your gums in a manner that seems appropriate.
Thanks....I see how much difference that’s made in the last 60 years.....
Graham was just doing what Trump is reserving for himself as CINC - he’s just trying to set himself and some of his liberal friends up to be able to either say, “I told you so” if things head south or to claim part of the credit for Trump’s success....now that the headlines say Kim has agreed to complete denuclearization, lets see how Linda and the rest talk....
Bolton is there to carry out the president’s policies. If he cant do the job he should step down. He is there to give the president his advice but the president sets the agenda.
