I don't consider this disrespecting or browbeating Jews. After all, what is being said IS in the Bible. Both John the Baptist and Jesus, who were contemporaries, had much criticism for the Jewish spiritual leaders of the day. The leadership, not the people. And in the Old Testament the Jews would very often go astray as well, which is the general theme of the book of Judges.
On the other hand, there are plenty of Jews that have accepted Jesus as the Messiah. They call themselves Messianic Jews.

We’re living in Today; and lots of Jewish people DON’T accept Jesus as a personal Messiah, Savior, or spiritual leader.
There are a lot of devout Jews who are our political and ideological ‘confreres’ here on FR. It appears from this thread - and others that I’ve seen - that most of our FRiends of the Jewish persuasion generally tolerate threads like this with good nature; but I’m not sure that they find them truly ‘FRiendly’.
The thread seems deliberately intended to be contentious and provocative. I don’t think that is at all useful in this venue.
