This friend described the Trump Doctrine in the simplest way possible. “There’s the Obama Doctrine, and the ‘F*** Obama’ Doctrine,” he said. “We’re the ‘F*** Obama’ Doctrine.”

Damn straight!

I suggest reading the complete article and understand that, as Scott Adams says, there are two movies playing at the same time. On one side are the liberals, aghast at President Trump's behavior and for them, every word here is true and it is all bad. On the other hand are Trump's supporters who can also read this article and cheerfully exclaim, "This is the man we voted for!"

To much of the world, however, and certainly to most practitioners of foreign and national-security policy, “We’re America, Bitch” would be understood as self-isolating, and self-sabotaging.

And like Mr. Goldberg they would be totally WRONG!

What this administration is saying is ...

America isn’t YOUR bitch any longer!

I was talking to this person several weeks ago, and I said, by way of introduction, that I thought it might perhaps be too early to discern a definitive Trump Doctrine.

“No,” the official said. “There’s definitely a Trump Doctrine.”

“What is it?” I asked. Here is the answer I received:

“The Trump Doctrine is ‘We’re America, Bitch.’ That’s the Trump Doctrine.”

Made up. I don't believe this happened. It's the author wishing this conversation occurred as he's trying to make Trump look like an ogre.

My take.

This is just another fake news piece. Like the others this is meant to make Trump and his Administration look like thugs and bullies.

This will do that as far as those who already hate him because it reenforces their feelings about him but the authors mistake is he believes Trump’s base will somehow think less of him when in fact it will only reenforce their positive feelings towards him.

“It struck me almost immediately that this was the most acute, and attitudinally honest, description of the manner in which members of Trump’s team, and Trump himself, understand their role in the world.”

I highly doubt Trump would word his message/doctrine with the “b”word. Seems to me the source doesn’t really speak well for/of Trump.

Jeffery Goldberg from The Atlantic?

No need to read further.

But I do kind of like the new confidence and bold arrogance of the Trump Doctrine.

Obama was apologizing and groveling at the feet of world leaders with his tail between his legs.

Trump stands tall and confidently says America is El Perrón.

Loose translation: America is the Big Dog!

Until Trump proves otherwise, I’m down with what he’s doing, and what he stands for.

Isn’t that where most conservatives have been for the last 30 or so years? We’ve been cucked for at least that long. Even Reagan granted amnesty to illegals.

“to most practitioners of foreign and national-security policy, “We’re America, Bitch” would be understood as self-isolating, and self-sabotaging”

Hmm, most of those practitioners have been causing America to lose for decades, and Trump is causing America to win.

It is simply amazing how deeply globalism has become embedded in the minds of the world. I encounter liberals often who are terrified that Trump will isolate us.

These people have probably never even entertained survival without the government teat.

Americans are, or were at least, incredibly selfless and generous to the rest of the world. Additionally we understood sacrifices and making due with what you have.

One gets the feeling these crybabies would fall apart without their latte from Starbucks or netflix.

Donald Trump is pursuing policies that undermine the Western alliance, empower Russia and China, and demoralize freedom-seeking people around the world. The United States could be made weaker—perhaps permanently—by the implementation of the Trump Doctrine.

And here again, blatant fear wrapped in a strong appeasement flavored package.

As another freeper commented too, it is amusing that the author considers countries of the 'western alliance' to be superior or even helpful. One thinks he has not recently read about rapes, no-go zones, and knife/acid attacks on the streets of London, for instance. In fact Russia has kept herself in better shape than London or France, or even Canada.

At any rate I hope to make use of "We're America, Bitches" often. And let's send a banner of it to Trudie the dancing dressup queen.
