After achieving some notoriety as Donald Trump’s ghostwriter for “Art of the Deal,” Tony Schwartz has been seeking a second bite at the celebrity apple, advancing the notion that Trump is—not to put too fine a point on it—crazy.
And of course, the liberal media is happy to provide Schwartz a platform to promote his theory. So there was Schwartz on CNN this morning:
“I’m going to say it very bluntly: he’s mentally ill . . . He’s prima facie mentally ill: he has a personality disorder.”

SQUIREL!!! What is so wonderful about idiots like this guy is it distracts the liberal (and I apologize ahead of time to dogs—as I love them and they are loyal and have loving souls) dogs. And continues to keep their expectations very low of the Donald. While President Trump is hard at work at draining not only the United States swamp. But the international swamp.
Trump does not cooperate with the elite permanent government so he must be self destructive and thus mentally ill because, you know, you can’t fight the real powers-that-be and you can’t get rich opposing the Masters. What he is, is rich. He has no need for their multi million dollar sinecures and book deals when he leaves office and he knows that by his own efforts he can make all the more money he wants should he want.
Trump is possibly the biggest threat to the liberal agenda ever, even greater than Reagan. They have thrown everything they can against him, but he keeps winning. All they have left is mud.
The media itself is ill. They are suffering a severe and untreatable case of Trump Derangement Syndrome.
I’ve noticed, as I’m sure you have, there are several themes the left uses in their attempt to remove the president. Mental illness is one. Hating and disrespecting women is one. Being racist is another. And always, Russia. These themes are recycled on a revolving door basis and involve subplots with each new attempt. Schwartz was used during the campaign extensively and now is back for a new round.
The president definitely has some quirks. Sometimes they make me uncomfortable and I cringe. However, regardless of my personal preferences and boundaries, the president delivers. Over and over. While I’m wringing my hands, his administration is accomplishing things I believed would never happen. I am grateful to him. I have learned to suck it up mostly and watch in amazement.
Anyone can sling the term mentally ill, without any credentials to do so. It was a popular tool of the Soviets to use on someone they wanted to disappear.

-Pompous and arrogant demeanor
I would bet that him speaking disparagingly about the subject of the book is a violation of the contract he agreed to when he was selected as the ghostwriter.

25 years ago, Michelle Malkin described this very issue in her book Unhinged: Exposing Liberals Gone Wild. I don't think she could imagine that book underestimated how "unhinged" the Left can be.

I will agree with this fool about one thing. Trump is a lightning rod for insanity. He certainly brings it to the surface in such people as deniro and all other aging actors. This “author” has lost his place in the sunlight and wants it back. Just like deniro, he has gotten old and has lost his place at the top. Has he done anything lately that is worthy? Deniro is reduced to playing movies about old farts and is no longer considered relevant. He misses the spotlight. So the only thing that he has left to sell and get the accolades is to bash Trump. He is an entertainer that has lost his ability to entertain, so he latches on the only role he knows how to play - a washed up, delusional, angry man who will not pass from the limelight without a fight. He should be pitied, because his god has left him- the god of fame. His anger will kill him.
