A Fox News host has accidentally referred to the highly anticipated summit between President Donald Trump and North Korean leader Kim Jong Un as a meeting of two dictators.
Fox & Friends co-host Abby Huntsman made the comment on Sunday as TV footage showed the Republican president landing in Singapore for a summit with Kim on Tuesday. Guest and former White House communications director Anthony Scaramucci didnt catch it.
But the daughter of U.S. Ambassador to Russia Jon Huntsman later apologized on air for what she had said. Her gaffe still took off on Twitter.

_______________
You're right.
She was previously a host on MSNBC and is a daughter of Ambassador and former governor Jon Huntsman Jr. and Mary Kaye Huntsman.
Everything you need to know
She and Shepard ought to be fired
You must not watch Fox and Friends on the weekends a lot. Her commentaries have a strong conservative and pro-Trump tilt. A simple speaking error that she corrected right away.
She definitely needs a good spanking. Any volunteers?
This is history in the making live so I can stand the dramatic tone of reporting of it.
My previous post has now been justified and verified............LOL!
Lets throw in a little of "eat our own" shall we?
Free Republic, the only conservative website dedicated to eating their own
I agree with your comments to a point.
There are going to be presentations made related to this.
I don’t have a problem with them picking someone pleasing to look at, the deliver the news.
Of course I want it done right too.
Actually, I find it refreshing for a network to refer to this as a “historic event” while the Left is trying to downplay its significance.
That pattern of speech is how many of us talk out loud.
One would usually not write the same statement down in that same manner. “what we’re seeing right now’ is said parenthetically. The muted tone of the speaker’s voice would give that away were it spoken.
a thing given or done as a concession of no great value to appease someone whose main concerns or demands are not being met.
Huntsman is as deep in the Bushie GOPe as you can get
Thanks for the note of agreement, with the person who made that comment.
Thanks, onyx. Good to hear from one that was watching.
I just insulted farm animals.
Unscripted remarks or reading from a teleprompter?
Yikes! Thanks for the reminder of why I never watch those Zombie shows. Now I remember! Where, O’ where is that remote?
At the very least she, and the whole couch crew as witnesses, should have been called in on the deep carpet, and given a warning that cheap shots against our POTUS will NOT be tolerated. Don’t try dragging us down to CNN level. Your next such remark will be your LAST on THIS network.
I don’t watch television, had no idea who this person was, found the video clip and watched it...
My impression was it was a gaffe, not some kind of attempt at slipping in a jab at Trump, and I despise all things media by default.
I think people are overreacting a bit on this. Just my opinion from having no idea who she was and having never listened to a word from her before, so I didn’t really carry much baggage for or against her.
I was listening to Dan Bongino the other day, and he made the comment that doing live work is far more demanding than doing a podcast, where you can go back, edit, remove something stupid you said, or something that didn’t come out the way you wanted it to. His opinion was, if you do it long enough, you’re going to make a mistake.
Wed hit that feckless Huntsman anyway
Well that’s what happens when you’re on TV just because of your last name.
Yup, great idea!
I was watching LIVE.
It was no big thing.
Abby is a GOOD one.

I agree. It was an unintentional slip of the tongue. Ive made similar mistakes not all of which I caught.
I have just one comment_thank me very much.
Her father could never deny her.
