Democrats can accept money whether or not it’s legal or not... The FBI will never investigate and the CIA and NSA turn a blind eye towards such criminality.
If a Republican accepts cash, they are immediately wiretapped and a spy is inserted in their midst to seek out any other frivolous criminal material to add on to the initial charges. When the spy is discovered, the standard response it that the spy was inserted for the sake of National security. It’s all in the FBI handbook ‘Investigative techniques for Dummies’
Maybe I missed something in the article, but I don’t see anyone actually accepting the jewels. It just says they found them. Did anyone read Rhodes’ book?

I don't like Obama either, but he isn't going to bow over bribes he can't keep. Hoft's source is Zerohedge, and both of them rarely cite the original articles. He's just as bad as CNN or MSNBC in replacing facts with opinions, and treating opinions as the facts.
In his memoir The World As It Is, published on Tuesday, (Ben) Rhodes recounts a trip to Saudi Arabia in June 2009 soon after Barack Obama became president.
He says on arrival he and other US officials were taken to housing units in a compound owned by the monarchy in the desert.
“When I opened the door to my unit, I found a large suitcase,” Rhodes recounts. “Inside were jewels.”
The trip to Saudi Arabia was the beginning of Obama’s first tour of the Middle East as president, and preceded his famous Cairo speech which he intended as a message to the Muslim world.
There’s a handful of clickbait bloggers that are somehow FR opinion leaders despite the fact that they make up stuff and embellish based on sources they do not credit. They should all be banned as sources for threads on FR.
