Germany was voted onto the United Nations Security Council for the sixth time on Friday, after it secured a two-thirds majority in the General Assembly.
The place was effectively guaranteed going into the vote: Germany and Belgium ran unopposed for the two spots in the Western European and Others category.

Someone has Germany spooked... LOL. 3 Guesses and the first 2 dont count
Defund the UN.
It would have been interesting to have Israel on the Security Council but they would never get the votes.
Pulling out would do that.
Their military is in tatters, from what Ive been reading.
Now Merkel can start her New World Order ,LOL
The USA should have voted no. It’s not more secure with socialist, LGTB-governed, pro- Muslim Germany on the Council.
The five permanent members have virtually all of the voting power. The 10 others are virtually irrelevant. (For proof, see the concept of Shapley-Shubik Power Index.)
Nice to see an Arabic country FINALLY getting some respect.
Stay in the UN. Move the UN out of the USA. Contribute what the average of the other members of the security council contribute.
That would bankrupt the UN.
Which is perfectly fine with me.
And get us out of the UN.
Why?
