Since youtube can do CC, why don't they put together a transcript so we can skim it if we don't have time to watch a nearly half-hour video? It would free up some bandwidth for them.

Since youtube can do CC, why don't they put together a transcript so we can skim it if we don't have time to watch a nearly half-hour video? It would free up some bandwidth for them. I would also free up my time. I can read the transcript of a half hour speech in about five minutes. I love to read and hate wasting my time watching a video knowing I could have read the entire thing in a fraction of the time. That is why I rarely watch a Youtube link.
