"First, does the accumulation of these incidents over time begin to erode trust and confidence?" Hadley said in an interview. "Secondly, what is it doing to public opinion and public views of the United States. That's the thing the Trump people don't sufficiently take into account."

Really? Trust and confidence by whom? Where were you when Obama was shipping crates of cash to Iran and lying to Congress about it? Second, no one likes us as it is, so worrying whether the rest of the world is our BBF's makes no sense. Personally, I'm tired of the US trying to appease everyone else in the world. I think it's time for others to start carrying their share of the load that the US has borne since WWII.

“”Secondly, what is it doing to public opinion and public views of the United States. That’s the thing the Trump people don’t sufficiently take into account.”

Funny.

They still don’t understand, have not come to the awareness, that we simply don’t givva sh!t what they think.

Just like an ex wife.

That “public views of the United States” remark is the only threat they really have: Continue to act as the world’s ATM or we will speak disrespectfully of you. As if they didn’t despise us already.
