he New York Times had a story on Friday that shouldve brought shame and derision upon anyone who voted for the racist monster in the White House, and upon the racist monster that the other racist monster installed at the head of the Department of Justice. The United States government is now committing human rights atrocities within its own borders and against the most vulnerable people it can find. I dont need to understand, much less take seriously, anyone who still supports this president* and his administration* because, if you do, youve taken the idea of America and run battery acid through its veins.
An American government escort handed over the 5-year-old child, identified on his travel documents as José, to the American woman whose family was entrusted with caring for him. He refused to take her hand. He did not cry. He was silent on the ride home. The first few nights, he cried himself to sleep. Then it turned into just moaning and moaning, said Janice, his foster mother. He recently slept through the night for the first time, though he still insists on tucking the family pictures under his pillow.

Charles: U mad, bro?
Thanks to all of you for taking the time to read it.
I have often felt that I am not suited to modern forms of communication such as texting or a forum like this...I cannot abstract what I want to say into either abbreviated “text speak” or a 144 character window.
As such, I type too much these types of forums...I get too wordy, so...thanks for reading. As all of you know, posting here on FR is as much for ourselves in certain moods, as is is for anyone else’s consumption.
I am one of those people who just cannot text ‘brb”...I have to text “I will be right back in a little while...” (which is why I can easily refrain from texting/talking and driving)
So I mean it when I say thank you.
Interesting you would say that...I was just thinking of that aspect of Leftism today...their inability to accept reality and act in their own self interest, even when that reality could very well destroy them.
If you have ever read “The Gulag Archipelago” you know exactly what I mean.
Charles is a staunch pro-abortion hypocrite. He doesnt give a flip about the children. I fart in his general direction.
"...when they don't get their way..."
When they don't get their way. "Their way" (on the Left) is a Utopia where everyone thinks and acts so alike that laws can't be broken and people hurt.
So anyone who does not think and act the way they do, and refuses to do is an obstacle to achieving their "Utopia".
And the common idiom "To make an omelette, eggs must be broken" never sounded so ominous as when it came out of the mouth of a totalitarian Leftist like Lenin, because you know exactly what it means when they say it. History has taught us that lesson.
Their 'omelette' is Utopia, and the eggs to be broken are 'us'.
Non-Leftists call that "Projection" and is a specialty of the left.
I forget who said it, but they said something like "If you want insight into what the Leftists are up to, listen to what they accuse others of doing.
I have been looking at the Left that way since pretty much the Nixon resignation.
And I have to tell you (though I suspect you know) just how disconcerting is the accuracy of that predictive practice is.
What they really aren't accustomed to is a conservative, who when threatened to be judged a bad person by the Left, instead of rolling over with their feet in the air to expose their squishy underbellies in surrender and subjugation, instead attack back!
Every single day, it is like the time when I was a kid and finally swung back at a bully after about a year of bullying and connected squarely. The look of surprise, puzzlement, and yes-fear-is exactly what I see on the collective face of the Left when Trump swings back.
When he had the Rose Garden speech to withdraw from the Paris Climate Accord, they were flabbergasted! Instead of squirming in supplication and apologizing for all things that might have been said or thought, Trump came right out and called it, on national television, a "wealth redistribution scheme"! I really did ver nearly fall out of my chair!
And there have been dozens of things he has said where I thought "Trump HAS to be a Freeper!"
Thank you, Nateman!
Yes, they don’t see truth.
The Left is possessed . See my tagline.
I read “The Gulag archipelago” years ago. Some of the people in the gulags actually cried when Stalin died. That’s how effective their propaganda/brainwashing was.
I was fortunate to meet and get to know a KGB defector named Yuri Bezmenov. He really showed us how terrible all the systems the Left embraces really are.
Again, thanks for the outstanding post.
We are on the same wavelength there...that was precisely what I had in mind when I posted to you! <P
It still astounds me, that Staling PUT them there with additional tenner after tenner piled on for nothing...and they still cried over his death.
When Orwell wrote of love for “Big Brother” and that in the end when everything you had was gone including your crime, your health, your freedom, and even your mind, all that would remain was “love of Big Brother”.
When I read of those inmates who cried for Stalin...that is what I thought of...Orwell’s description of love for Big Brother.
Thank you, Fungi...
How true that is regarding Big Brother. That mind-set is so wrong in so many ways.
Now I can understand the lack of discernment of so many. It is very disgusting and very sad.
That is an interesting observation. I read a book written by a Freeper with the DC Chapter of Free Republic (who I met l personally on many occasions ) titled “Undercover Patriot” where she infiltrated a leftist group.
It was interesting, and the leftists behave in private exactly as you think they would!
We all know this to be true, because they speak and act one way when interacting with the public or non-liberals, but when they think you are one of them (as they often assume in certain situations) you hear them say things that are quite different.
It has been my experience that conservatives, for better or worse, are largely consistent in their outlook and the environment they inhabit or company they keep does not present a disparity.
This Has Turned INTO a VERY
Informative thread...
THANKS!
I write paragraphs in my texts. My brother then answers me with one word. :\
