HOW IS THIS LEGAL?
Twitter sent out notices to several investigative reporters and media outlets on Friday including: Wikileaks, Julian Assange, Kim DotCom, Cassandra Fairbanks, Roger Stone, Matt Couch and The Gateway Pundit.
The liberal and Democrat-connected attorneys for Aaron Rich are demanding Twitter turn over all direct messages from these accounts to Aarron Rich’s attorneys.
Aaron is the brother of Seth Rich, the DNC operative who was murdered mysteriously in the summer of 2016. There have been no leads to the murder of Seth Rich. Aaron Rich is suing conservative activists and media outlets for allegedly spreading conspiracy theories about the slain staffer.
On Friday Twitter sent out letters to several conservatives and media outlets including Wikileaks informing the account owners that the attorneys for Aaron Rich are seeking information from the private accounts.

This seems like it could be not bad but actually really good?
The laptop that was found with Seth disappeared while in DCPD custody, did it ever show back up?
Assuming these attorneys are well intentioned, that is.
Based on what? And this is way to broad. Twitter better fight it and if they don’t then sue twitter.
Read the lawsuit filed by aaron rich. No doubt in my mind some big money is going to be ordered by a jury.
The evidence sought by subpoena is relevant to the plaintiffs case.
I hope a lawyer will chime in.
I did not think in a civil case that one could subpoena
material from a non participant.
Criminal and civil cases have different rules.
Anyone can be subpoenaed.
I didn’t think talking about Conspiracy Theories to be against the law, even creating them.
I hav not read the lawsuit.
A civil suit for damages requires that one prove that they have been damaged.
How does any story, correct or not, damage a dead person?
And how does any story that is about a dead person damage the living who are not even a part of the story?
Didn’t Julian Assange offer a large award for information leading to the identification of the killer(s) of Seth Rich? And now, Seth’s brother is going after Assange legally?
The case is being filed by the dead persons brother because he was repeatedly defamed on twitter, tv and in the newspapers by the defendants.
Calling someone a criminal when it is not true etc is defamation.
A jury could award $100 billion if they wanted to ... and it would be thrown out by the judge in the case. The biggest challenge a plaintiff has in a case like this is proving that anyone has actually suffered any harm that would warrant a monetary award for damages.

NO lawyer has any power. Even if a court orders it, there is always an appeal if you want.
