How Russiagate Became Israelgate

...Is George Papadopoulos actually not a Russian agent of influence, but an Israeli spy?

In an April, 2018 article in The Australian, Downer explained that he had reached out to Papadopoulos through an “Israeli contact.” According to a story from the Daily Caller, the Israeli contact is Christian Cantor, an official at the Israeli embassy in London, who introduced Papadopoulos to “Erika Thompson, a counselor to Downer who serves in Australia’s London embassy.” Downer had wanted to speak to Papadopoulos after he made disparaging comments about UK Prime Minister David Cameron in the British press, and told Thompson to reach out to the Trump adviser.

Now, according to senior US officials reached by Tablet, the Australians are saying it was the other way around. “The Australians are telling reporters that the Israelis put Papadopoulos in front of them,” one told me this week.

... An article in the Wall Street Journal last week shows that Downer went through unusual channels to report his tip. Rather than reporting his conversation to the Australian government, according to whom Downer broke protocol and instead contacted a diplomat at the US embassy in London, Elizabeth Dibble. Somehow the information made its way up the chain at the State Department, which relayed the tip to federal law enforcement. Congressional investigators on the Republican side believe that Downer—who was instrumental in securing $25 million from his government to help the Clinton Global Initiative fight AIDS—may have been participating in a sting operation against a US presidential campaign.

This is very interesting. So now the story is no longer that Aussie Clinton-connected diplomat Downer reached out for drinks with Papadop using an Israeli acquaintance.

Now the story is that the Israeli reached out to Downer to get Papadop placed in front of him.

Remember, originally the story was that Downer reported back to Canberra that Papadop had told him the Russians had Hillary emails.

Then the story changed that Downer was never told about emails, and that Downer first took his story over to a Clintonista in the US embassy in London.

My theory on the Israeli connection:

Papadop for years had been pushing the Israeli gas fields in seminars and papers, and in particular a gas distribution route through Cyprus and Greece into Europe. (BTW Cyprus in recent years has become favorite second home for Russian oligarchs)

I'm guessing he received compensation from the Israeli government for this, but never registered in the US as a foreign agent of Israel. Just like their claim that Manafort was paid to lobby for Ukraine's interest, but never registered in the US as a foreign agent of Ukraine.

Clearly there is likely something to it. Imagine if Mueller's goons brought you into custody and threatened to 'out' you as an agent of Mongolia, you would laugh in their face. That is, unless you were an agent of Mongolia.

But I suspect there is even more than that.

The Plea Agreement that Mueller made Papadop sign seems to have inconsistencies with the facts indicated from other sources.

For example, Mueller claims that Papadop first met Mifsud on March 14, 2016 by chance in Rome, after he had been notified that he was a Trump advisor and that Papadop believed Mifsud was a Russian agent. So, it supports their phony narrative.

But researchers have discovered on the Wayback machine a photo and other indications that Papadop was already working for Mifsud's organization in London, the LICLP, in February. Huh? So Papadop must have known Mifsud before the Mueller Plea Agreement claims he did.

I'm guessing the US gov was illegally spying on Papadop using the NSA database, probably going all the way back to when he was in Carson's campaign in December 2017.

They looked at all of his private communications, and perhaps found some dirt on him (much more than merely failing to register as a lobbyist for Israel).

Papadop told his wife only about the Israeli bit. And that's what she repeated to the media.

But I'm guessing Mueller had Papadop over a barrel, could get Papadop to say whatever at all Mueller wanted him to say to promote the Democrats' phony Russia collusion story, because of dirt they found by illegally searching all of Papadop's communications.

Anyone, that's my theory and I'm sticking with it. At least for the moment.

Actually, I think it was pretty smart of Papadop’s wife to divulge that Mueller accused Papadop of being an Israeli agent.

I noticed on Twitter that immediately when that came out multiple accounts started accusing Mueller of being an Anti-Semite.

And as Lee Smith put it in his piece: “It’s difficult to imagine that many of the prominent figures on the left and the Never Trump right who have seen the Russiagate conspiracy as a useful instrument to weaken or corral Trump will be eager to push a narrative about clandestine Jewish control of American politics.”

So perhaps this turn of events may make people like Bill Kristol back off pushing the phony Russia collusion hoax. But at least in Kristol’s case, I kind of doubt it.

Consider this groundless speculation: Sidney Blumenthal knew Downer via Clinton Foundation and knew Christian Cantor at the Israeli Embassy. He arranged for Canter to use a woman lawyer (P seems to go for those) to bait Papadopoulos to meet with Downer. Downer reported the pre-determined results of this meeting to someone on the US State Dept, per Blumenthal’s instructions.

I’m tagging Blumenthal because of the State Dept connection, but the CIA and FBI might have done the arranging just as well. This is all a set-up to interfere in US domestic politics. No official Israeli spy plot, with Israeli political objectives is required (and Lee Smith offers nothing on either) — just the usual Hillary subversion of democracy.

I don’t think that’s groundless at all re speculation. Cody Shearer as well as Blumenthal seems to be closely involved in the State Dept role here.

I wonder which side the Clintons and those who pay them are on regarding the Israeli gas field.

A lot of Americans not paying attention to this may be surprised if a real war breaks out between Turkey/Northern Cyprus and their allies on the one hand and Israel/Cyprus/Greece and their allies on the other hand over Eastern Med gas resources, and there is a serious chance this turns into a military conflict.

Turkey’s position with the key players of the US, Germany and Russia has weakened in the last couple of years as it turns towards bellicose Islamism while Bibi has been working hard to strengthen Israel’s position, at least with the US and Russia.
