Another It’s because I’m black story.
Uh, ok.
Why is it always so complicated with black folks. I’ve never even been close to having an issue like that in a retail store ever.
What?!
Regards,
There is no way she walked out of the store with the sensor tag still attached the first time. The racket made by those things is unbelievable. The only way would have been if it was tucked into a Faraday cage.
It doesnt say she had a receipt for the original bra. This story smells. But she will probably be successful in suing the store, unless she had more stuff with censors in her bag.
How did she make it out of the store from the original purchase if it still had a sensor on it?
“forgot to remove the censor on a bra”
Hate it when that happens. Very uncomfortable.
“an employee at Victorias Secret in Collierville forgot to remove the censor on a bra she purchased recently at the store”
Then why didn’t the alarm go off when she left the store after the initial purchase?
Beat me by 20 seconds.
“Uh, ok. “

It happens,it happened to me at Lord and Taylor.
.
As always with a story like this, there is undoubtedly much more to be told. For example, a perhaps very raucous, flailing-around screaming fit which attracted the officer in the first place.
Unless this is an EXTREMELY rare case, cops don’t slap handcuffs on people for nothing.
It’s happened to me several times. After it happened once, I try to remember to watch them remove the sensors, but I’ve missed a few.
I’ve been able to remove the sensors. However, you should have the receipt with you if you take it to the store.
Censored?
The case of the uncensored sensor...
I left a store with a censor on it,Lord and Taylor.
Obviously it was faulty, but it CAN happen.
,
I was thinking the same thing. Did she have a receipt? Most stores like this have recording security cameras focused on the cash registers. If so, the woman’s story could be easily verified .
I don’t know the story here but it does happen. Twice in my life I’ve ended up with the censor at home. You can’t remove it without destroying the garment and you can’t take it back, lol. Now when I buy something I always make sure it is removed.
Maybe she was caught on a security camera stealing the bra, and was recognized when she returned?
