If an army marches on its stomach, the forces at Fort Hamilton had better learn to cook.
Eateries near the Brooklyn Army base, which handed over an undocumented pizza deliveryman to immigration agents last week, are now refusing to send their own workers into the garrison.
I wont send my guys there anymore, said Josefina Cardoso, owner of the El Puente restaurant in Bay Ridge.
I would feel guilty if something happened.

Other local delivery guys said the guards rarely check for any ID. They dont ask us for ID, said Juan Salvador, 38, an immigrant from Guatemala who delivers for Fourth Avenue deli Goustaro. But his manager said she, too, is now afraid to send undocumented food couriers into the federal facility.

Now the terrorists know an easy way into the base.
Let me get this straight: Illegal aliens are more important in their eyes than the military that fights and dies for their freedom and safety? Or am I not understanding the situation?
Eatery owners say “You’re Fired”:-)
NY Post slime balls make it seem the army is at fault if I was a ICE SUPERVISOR I would raid them all listed in the story every last owner goes to jail for not doing e-verify...

Sounds like an admission of guilt here.

Boycotting your customers has never worked as a business model, as far as I know.
Hopefully ICE has the addresses of these places and pays a little visit.
Wait, It will become like LA if it hasn’t already. I wonder if Gen. Jackson and Lee are still on the wall of the Ft. Hamilton O’Club, that’s if its still there. I was there in the late 70’s..
You mean, if, for instance, one of the illegal aliens you have working for you gets busted?
If the criminal sympathizing illegal alien boosters obeyed their nations laws as any good patriotic American does then they wouldn’t have to dodge or evade ICE agents doing their sworn duty and hard job. I hope someone takes the time to publish the names of these aiders and abetters of breaking the law get published and loyal patriotic Americans show their displeasure with them advocating lawlessness by spending their hard earned dollars elsewhere, with other law abiding businesses.
Then stop hiring illegals.
Wherever will they find a business that would want that contract? < /SARC>
Why wouldn't the guards at the installation front gate check ID's of those entering, pizza delivery guys or not?
Sounds like somebody was falling down on the base security protocol previously.
ICE should check out all the pizza places in the area now that their owners are publicly admitting that they fear for their own illegal workers.
Several years ago, there was a plot to launch a terrorist attack on Fort Dix, New Jersey. One of the people involved in the plot was a guy who had access to the base as a food delivery driver. His role in the plot was to scout possible locations for the attack while he was on base making his deliveries.
Knowing they hold attitudes like this I wouldn’t eat any food they touched anyway.
Good...
If the illegal aliens stay away, American businesses can get the delivery jobs...
and why were illegal aliens allowed to just waltz onto military bases without IDs ???
Regular American citizens cant get onto the bases WITH IDs...
Unless a vehicle has a sticker, the drivers have to show an ID and prove they have a right to enter..
Gee, undocumented/illegal people that are in the USA without proper vetting and documentation entering military bases, gee, what could be wrong about that?
Unidentified foreign nationals on an army base, nothing could go wrong there for sure.
“If an army marches on its stomach, the forces at Fort Hamilton had better learn to cook....”
Um....do these idiots not know what these guys are trained to eat if they have to?
Go ahead and boycott. You need them more than they need your sorry asses.
