Jeff Sessions Delivers: DOJ Nails Senate Intel Committee’s Security Chief as Deep State Leaker
Breitbart ^ | June 7, 2018 | Ian Mason

Posted on 06/08/2018 5:36:59 AM PDT by PapaBear3625

Senior Justice Department officials announced late Thursday criminal charges against Senate Intelligence Committee’s long-time director of security James Wolfe.

The indictment charges Wolfe with making false statements to the FBI and details how Wolfe passed classified information, including presumably information related to one-time Trump campaign aide Carter Page, to a series of media outlets, confirming long-standing suspicions of the career intelligence community’s complicity in leaks. The three-count indictment charges Wolfe with separate instances of making false statements to the FBI, not directly charging him for leaking classified information, but appearing to detail how he did allegedly leaked classified information to reporters and then allegedly lied about it to the FBI.

How about the bribe taking hillary gang? Get that going before the statute of limitations runs. Why wasn’t the news woman arrested? She was having sex to get leaks?

If you believe Lerner and Clapper deserve free passes while the rabid, psychotic [terms I don’t use lightly—examine the man’s history] Mueller gets to savage Trump For No Crime At All, and destroy Trump’s supporters, there’s nothing more to be said. You support a two-tiered justice system as wide as the Grand Canyon.

“Maybe he was instructed to leak by one or two committee members.
If so, that would be bigger fish. Big delicious fish”

This a post I made regarding Wolfe. I seem to understand.

Now, we have been told by many Session boot lickers to wait until this
IG report comes out and many criminal indictments will follow. The moment
is near. With lots of Big Fish available to catch. Let’s see how many are
referred criminally.
BTW, McCabe was given a criminal referral almost 2 months ago.
Where is his indictment?

".....but I can tell you generally why such lower charges are made to hold an individual and get them into the system. They charge first with what they have an iron-clad case for, more complex charges are held back to negotiate with the perp."

Good analysis Scott from the West Coast. It makes sense to me.

Will any of the four reporters mentioned in the indictment be prosecuted? That may hang on what the leaker will expose. If they received classified information and knew it was classified, I am sure that would be a crime. Proving their knowledge may be difficult without a transmitted classified document or acknowledgement from them in a text that they knew it was classified.

I hardly ever watch television anymore and get my news from the web. I watched a couple hours of FOX today and I was surprised they were mainly bashing law enforcement for seizing her phone and email traffic to prove some of their case. If she was receiving classified briefings from a government employee she should find herself unemployable in my mind, but that certainly wasn't the consensus. The MSM will likely call her a hero (if they ever get around to mentioning her name) since she was working for Huff Post, Politico, Buzzfeed and currently at the New York Lies. She was clearly critical of the Trump Administration and a devoted gun grabber which is enough to make her the darling of the libtard media.

Yup. Toss out some small event to make it appear he is not deep state, but is doing his job. Pure façade.

But, but Sessions is not doing anything.

Sleepy is over a year late for work, and you're crowing about it?

I read the posted article.

It doesn’t say that Sessions was personally involved in this case.

I heard Sessions in an interview with Maria Bartiromo say that his recusal also covers leak investigations that touch on any other thing he is recused from.

The leak in this case had to do with Carter Page.

Sessions’ recusal covers Carter Page, and according to Sessions the recusal would also cover leaks having to do with Carter Page.

I seriously doubt Sessions had any personal involvement at all in this case.

I answered here> I have no idea what is in something that hasn’t been made public. (Regarding he IG report).

I then asked you the following: Are you disputing the evidence gained from the small fish expose bigger fish? Do you not understand it’s how many investigations work? Are you suggesting this is not how many investigations are routinely conducted?

Again, why are you evading the questions?

Surely you can do better than such an elementary question.
Of course small fish can sometimes lead to bigger fish.
Now mine. Why hasn’t Big Fish McCabe been indicted?
DOJ throws u Sessions boot lickers a small fish token indictment
and u think he has cleaned up DOJ.
Let’s see how many protected class Big Fish get criminal referrals
after the coming IG report is released.
That should tell us a lot more than one token indictment.

He is a small fish because until today none of us knew this guy. A big fish would be someone we all know for example: Comey, Clinton (either one), Clapper, Brennan, Rice, Louis Lerner, Obama, Lynch, Jarret.

Medium size fish would be Podesta, Rosenstein, Strozk, McAbe, Wasserman-Shultz, Brazille .

Honestly had you ever heard of this guy before this? The importance of his job doesn't affect his fish size rating in my book.

Thanks you. See that wasn't so difficult!

Why hasn’t Big Fish McCabe been indicted?

I have no idea. But I'm confident that will be revealed at some point.

So Sessions recused himself from this low level indictment.

“TheLastRefuge” on Twitter identifies the reporters in the indictment as:

Reporter #1 Manu Raju at CNN
Reporter #2 Ali Watkins at NYT
Reporter #3 Marianna Sotomayor NBC
Reporter #4 Brian Ross ABC

The analysis is based on them being fed false stories through the leaker (”barium meals”), and seeing where they got published.

Went for the slam dunk “lying to the FBI” vs “leaking classified” information which could leave reasonable doubt.
