Jim Wolfe, a longtime former director of security at the Senate Intelligence Committee, was indicted and arrested Thursday night for giving false statements to F.B.I. agents during their investigation into leaks of classified information to the media.
This is a developing story.

Democrats are freaking, they know this is bad!....
3 ‘years’ of classified information leaks he made to 3 networks....lets have the ‘other’ reporters too! I bet they aren’t sitting to snug tonight!
What was the nickname of the informant in Watergate again?
Cause I think this reporter got the parable messed up in translation...
We’ll just have to see how this Judge handles it..I figure, as others have, they must have considerable evidence so it would be hard for her to let it slip by.
Imagine all the phone calls going on tonight!
Really? Delightful!
They're so lovely when they haven't yet gotten their talking points from the Central Committee.
What is means, is that all the *other* reporters, who acquired their scoops through pillow talk, realize that someone in the NSA or somewhere, knows exactly ... down to what position and for how many minutes.
Suddenly joking about Stormy Daniels just ain't so fun any more, is it Presstitutes?
Another tid bit...
Wolfe’s ‘wife’ worked for the FBI for 20 years as well... Not saying she’s involved but it is interesting...every marriage in the deep state is arranged to use marriage laws to prevent getting caught at their shady deals.
Funny how Dems *ALWAYS* draw far-left-wing judges.

3. Wolfe Was Accused of Using WhatsApp & Other Programs to Engage in Extensive Contact With Multiple Reporters
4. Wolfe Was an Intelligence Analyst for the U.S. Army (83-87)
5. Wolfe Was Involved in Many Important Issues in His Position; 2014,the current and past Democratic staff of the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence thanked for their hard work and diligence on the Committee Study of the Central Intelligence Agencys Detention and Interrogation Program.
I saw that too - his wife worked for the FBI - does she have a HAM radio license as well ???
What was the age difference for Judge Roy Moore, again?

I don't think it's a coincidence. I'm convinced that he goes "on vacation" when he gets early-warning from his contacts that a serious story is about to break. And for two reasons: One reason is to get all the information without the distraction of putting on a program (that's what highly entertaining and smart subs like Mark Steyn are for). Another is to stay mum on the breaking story, let all the pundits fall all over themselves getting "what it all means" wrong, and then Rush comes back after a couple days or so to give listeners his unique angle with a sack of facts he is confident about.

Not much of a marriage when a couple is so far apart.
I think so. I think he gets tips and if the story is big enough, he takes time off to study it and then, when the first wave of facts starts to subside, he comes back to give listeners his perspective on what's going on.
If you have a network of friendly contacts in all sorts of places, that seems like a pretty smart thing to do. Let the Alphabet Media babble incoherently while the story develops faster than they can report it. And then come in after them with a fresh and well-studied angle on it all.
Let me see if I have this straight.
The Senate Committee was investigating Bush era CIA interrogation techniques.
Meanwhile, Brennan's CIA was spying on the Senate Committee's computers.
Add to that a Democrat staffer, Jim Wolf, may have leaked classified information, about the Brennan CIA spying on the Senate Committee, to a NY Times reporter.
The NY Times reporter then writes an article about how the CIA was spying on the Senate Committee.
And now we have an indictment of the Democrat staffer, for lying to the FBI, about talking to the NY Times reporter, about possible Brennan CIA spying on the Senate Committee, who was investigating Bush era CIA interrogation techniques.
Do I have that right?
A very close friend from my youth suffers from that affliction. You poor soul.

Interesting in light of the big speech he gave on Wednesday about how he had to take a couple of days off to do the EIB "upfront," and how this is an annual thing and had to be moved this year and it's so unfortunate because he didn't want to be away from the Golden EIB Microphone, etc.
That struck me as odd because it was unusual for him to spend so much air time explaining why he's going away, to spend time making the case for why he has no control over a particular absence.
I do remember years ago when he explained how he had to be away for a charity event that had been set up far in advance, but not so much recently.
I can't help but think — in light of your comment — that perhaps he actually did get a heads-up. He said the upfront had been moved... nah, too far out. I don't think so. Still, interesting.
I don’t know....but what Wolfe knows is a huge national security issue (hugely) So I tend to think they’re going to make this stick...Top Secret to the hilt isn’t going to get him any free time without being behind bars or under lock and key for a spell.
Nasty terrible people!
Generally I’d agree....but not in todays world....it’s all screwed up with open marriages and a host of other meet ups they see nothing wrong with until they get caught....then suddenly they have concern for ‘the children’ they didn’t care about while they had their flings.
