Mexico announced it would impose tariffs on $3 billion worth of U.S. products to retaliate against the Trump administration's tariffs on steel and aluminum imports from Mexico last week.......The import duties would be placed on products such as cheese, bourbon, and pork.

President Trump seeks to end three-way talks to renegotiate the North American Free Trade Agreement. Instead, National Economic Council Director Larry Kudlow said Trump wants to deal separately with Canada and Mexico to restructure NAFTA.

“His preference now — and he asked me to convey this — is to actually negotiate with Mexico and Canada separately,” Kudlow told "Fox and Friends." “He prefers bilateral negotiations.”

“The import duties would be placed on products such as cheese, bourbon, and pork.”

Bourbon can not be made anywhere but Kentucky. Imported Mexican brown liquor is not bourbon. The only thing consistantly imported from Mexico is Mexicans.

Meanwhile, Mexican citizens (aka illegal aliens) send back $70B from the USA to Mexico.

In all seriousness, $3B is next to nothing.

Trump can tax or block all the money transfers from US to MEX. HUGE bargaining chip, but MEX had to do something so they look like they’re “fighting.” But Trump has them over a barrel and they know it.

Let’s see, $3 billion vs $17 trillion.

Don’t have enough zeros to the right of the decimal point.

Can I get some zeros from my FRiends?
