It is stupid for Giuliani to even mention the President’s pardon power.

Trump did nothing wrong. There was no collusion. He is not guilty of a crime. Why is anyone talking about a pardon - least of all his lawyer?

To bring it up as a even a possibility just fuels the illegal effort to remove President Trump.

Giuliani didn't bring up the question of pardoning. He was asked point-blank, and he gave his opinion, and it became a headline. It is too bad that politicians are driven to obfuscation, vagueness , weasel words and generalities because of reporters who will take an answer to a question as a policy or explicit strategy and turn the answer into something it wasn't.
