The FBI has rules about drinking and carrying. They sure do, and they are strictly enforced.
I can't remember. Is it, if you're drinking, you shall be carrying? Or is it, if you're carrying, you shall be drinking?
Any way, it's something like that and like you say, they have rules about this kind of stuff and every SA takes it very seriously.
Just like this guy.

Poor guy will never hear the end of this.More like his fellow SA are slapping him on the back congratulating him and buying him endless rounds of drinks.

If you, or any, believe that the weapon “went off” during a “flip.” you are one stupid jerk that should bail out of this forum.

Looks like the gun passed the drop test but the agent failed the four rules of shooting test.

Anyone know if he is, or was, married? If so I bet the wife had some pointed questions ready for him when he got home.
Oh by the way; word of caution, what happens in Vegas does NOT really always stay in Vegas.

A good holster for weapon retention is important, by the way. If you’re going to do flips, at least get something with a thumb break.

"
This is Colorado. Whats the legal standard for cannabis and firearms?"
Possession (even in the home) or purchase of any firearm is illegal for any "prohibited person" in the U.S.A. Carrying while intoxicated is illegal in CO and other states. Police in some states enforce more than others. If an incident occurs, enforcement is likely and will in most cases also affect the outcome of the incident case. On whether or not someone was intoxicated, if no sobriety test was administered, the judge will have discretion to decide according to witness testimony, other evidence, etc.

Exactly. Idiot reporting. The weapon didnt go off, it was negligently discharged by the FBI agent, plain and simple.

What a macho name, Chase Bishop.Maybe my tin foil chapeau shrank at the cleaner's, but I'm wondering if Chase Bishop is one of a few fake identities that the Bureau keeps on hand for embarrassing situations like this. Or for illegal ones....

Love how nonchalant he is about things after he pulls the trigger, puts his gun back in his pants, and walks away from where the shot was fired. He puts his hands up as if he was simply signaling he didnt rip a fart. Zero concern for what happened to the round. Drunk, high, or a sociopath.

I’m guessing Bishop Chase is not one of the dozens of Good Agents chomping at the bit to blow the whistle.
