Thanks for starting this thread.

Voted this morning. They took a long time to set up and were finally open at almost 7:20 a.m. Not organized. After the official opening, things were calm and seemed to work smoothly. A bunch of people were dropping off the mail-in ballots. The other half went to the booths. One screen voting machine for the handicapped and paper (optically scanned) for everyone else.

I am a lifelong Angeleno. I can’t give up on this city or state. Just can’t. But we need the Trump/MAGA treatment and then some.

Don’t the polls close at 10pm eastern time?

What’s taking so long?

A stupid, 21 year old new hire at my work today was bragging about voting for Gavin Newsome because he “is soooo hot!”

I wanted to slap her hard. We need to raise the voting age to 35.

..... The low population areas will report first. They are usually more conservative.

KRON 4 in SF is reporting the Viarigosa campaign is claiming 118,000 people who are registered to vote were not on the voters list. Has asked the SOS to extend the voting hours.

No. I am younger than 35 and my sister is in her 20s. We are in the heart of urban L.A. (she flew out from grad school) and voted this morning.

I of course voted for Cox but for sanity’s sake would prefer his opponent to be the lesser evil Democrat. Who would he worse? Newsom or Villarogioisa?

I’m hoping the new water rationing law really helps Cox in the general.

That couldn’t have come at a better time for us.
