CNN political analyst April Ryan was forced to backtrack on claims that the president was “heckled and booed” at a White House event Tuesday after it was reported that the ridicule was, in fact, directed at a protester in the crowd.
Tuesday’s event was originally meant as a celebration for the Philadelphia Eagles to honor the team for its Super Bowl victory. But President Trump rescinded the invitation, accusing the team of disagreeing "with their president because he insists that they proudly stand for the National Anthem, hand on heart, in honor of the great men and women of our military and the people of our country.”
Trump instead hosted a patriotic event to celebrate America.

Seriously. Trump, who is great at thinking outside the box, needs to abolish the way this is done. I get that the “press” deserves some access, but no administration has ever been treated like this. It’s out of control.

Another Lie. The Trump Administration decided to cancel the visit when the Eagle organization said at the last minute only less than 10 of them were coming. Originally the Eagle organization indicated they would sent 80 organization members and over 1000 Eagle fans were invited. The Eagles also tried to reschedule another date when they new the POTUS was going to be out of the Country. I believe Sara Sanders and not the Eagles on this one.

Nothing surprises me any more when it comes to the bald face lies, deliberate distortions, and just the real vileness that they spew day in and day out. A real headline story would be that they objectively, and truthfully reported a story. That would be the man bites dog story of the year.

I don't know for sure, but read that three players would not attend, while some eleven or so would. In any case, President Trump was right to cancel a disrespectful team (there is no "I" in "team").
