The McCain machine operates in part to ensure that populist or conservative candidates do not make it out of Republican primaries. Only the most mega-corporate-friendly candidates and their consultants are granted access to all of the Party’s resources. McCain’s stable of candidates this year include Tiffany Shedd, running in CD1, Rep. Martha McSally, running to replace Sen. Jeff Flake, Lea Marquez Peterson, running in CD2, and Governor Doug Ducey.
Popular challengers State Sen. Steve Smith, former State Sen. Dr. Kelli Ward, Brandon Martin, and former Secretary of State Ken Bennett are generally denied equal access to the Party apparatus.
In the case of Ward and Bennett the attacks from the Republican “establishment” have been blistering.

And the AZGOP wants to elect Martha McSally, the female version of Jeff Flake to the senate. Then the Freepers here will blame us for her election.
“But we have to vote for McSally to keep the senate...” will be the cry here up until Election Day. Then “What’s wrong with Arizona?” after the traitorous loser runs her yap just like the clown Flake she replaced. She’s just the new one with the McCain dagger.

Marquez Peterson is frontrunner in CD2 and President of Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. She is rolling in money and you know who her supporters are. IMO she is much worse than McSally whose seat she wants.
As badly as I hate to say it, Kelli Ward is limping against Krysten Sinema a most attractive, well funded, duplicitous, leftist Democrat.
Yeah, I know how that goes.
All I know is this, I can only control my vote, and it will not be for Marco Rubio. He’s my uber amazing, super duper GOP critter. I do see myself voting for Gaetz again though.
I am not sending these usual suspects to Washington any longer.
And if that means a Demonrat gets the seat, then so be it.
Personally, I do not think that our problems with this matter are going to be solved by elections, because it’s a rigged game.
