I pretty much agree with that.
One avenue to help bolster their case would have been to reference any online statements he had made related to “tearing the place up” or some such.
IMO, part of this process was just giving those who attended and were likely involved in the riot, was to give them so much grief they’d think twice of doing it again.
I doubt many of those who showed up in that group, were fully innocent.
If I’m around when my side starts getting violent, I’ll leave. I don’t believe in rioting or destroying businesses, and you won’t catch me in a group doing that sort of thing.
