Senate Judiciary Chairman Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-IA) announced the date for a hearing on the Department of Justice (DOJ) Inspector General (IG) report about Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) officials conduct ahead of the 2016 presidential election, including the Hillary Clinton email scandal.
Originally scheduled for Tuesday, the hearing will now take place at 2 p.m. on June 11 and is open to the public. The hearing, titled Examining the Inspector Generals First Report on Justice Department and FBI Actions in Advance of the 2016 Presidential Election, will focus on the long-anticipated IG report.
Fox News reported in May:
Justice Department Inspector General Michael Horowitz is slated to testify before congressional committees next month, presumably, after the release of his long-awaited report on the FBIs Hillary Clinton investigation during the 2016 presidential campaign, Fox News has learned. Both the Senate Judiciary Committee and the House Oversight Committee are preparing to have Horowitz appear before them in early June, according to a congressional source.
Two figures are said to be at the center of the report former FBI director James Comey (fired by President Donald Trump) and former FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe, (fired by Attorney General Jeff Sessions).

YUP!
Everybody talks about the "DEEP STATE."
There IS NO Deep State...it is "the government", pure and simple!
"Have you been so compromised and corrupted by democrat money that you can't see the missing 30,000 emails in front of you?"
How many RINO swamp denizen senators will step forward to to Gowdy anything negative in these hearings. I expect Horowitz to do precisely this when he gets his chance. Sessions has destroyed any chance of justice being done. Trump will be perp walked before any of these Sessions protected felons.
Great insight. All the world expects government to be involved in all kinds of technical aspects of modern life. There is no alternative to these technocrats, and only brutal and fatal punishment for them being political will deter them.
Investigators appointed, indictments filed, perp walks.
But that was when I was young and my heart was an open book.
I agree they needed another week to finish sanitizing it.
Is Trump just letting the statute of limitations run?
EVERYONE knows she's guilty, but most of the hard evidence has been erased and bleach-bit, thanks to 0bama and his crooked cronies.
So long as Trey Gowdy isn’t conducting these hearings. In fact, he shouldn’t even be in the room if anything is to be acquired.
The POTUS will be out of the Country when this hearing happens......
It's frightening when that thought is a real possibility. I ca only hope justice is served.....
Such a farce! The IG did not even have subpoena power. His report was supposed to come out in March and we still haven’t seen it. Before we see it the FBI and CIA will review it with the power delete portions. Hillary and her minions will skate, while Mueller continues an all out effort to destroy Trump. Trump has to clean out the swamp of the DOJ,FBI,CIA and State.
Under Title 18, Section 1924, of federal law, it is a misdemeanor punishable by fines and imprisonment for a federal employee to knowingly remove classified information without authority and with the intent to retain such documents or materials at an unauthorized location.
++++++++++++
It seems to me that this severely understates the potential lawbreaking by Hillary.
A misdemeanor? Give me a break.
Is there any doubt that Hillary transmitted classified information and documents via her Blackberry and server. That is not a simple misdemeanor. That is a felony.
Did she do that? I think so. She should be nailed.
The IG can only interview folk that are CURRENT US GOV employees. How is that gonna solve anything?????
No question.......
The email deal was a black letter violation of the espionage act on its face. If we read the law as written; it required no motive, no cohort, no payoff, no intent. Nothing has changed in any of those regards. I say this knowing that you know all of this and don’t need me to repeat it.
The HRC email investigation converts the entire legal system into an unflushed toilet. There’s no more evidence that needs to be brought forth. Nothing more needs to be investigated.
Who is supposed to tolerate that? Well, apparently half the country has no big problem with it.
