A number of old posts from Joy Reids blog The Reid Report have disappeared from the Wayback Machine internet archive as of Friday afternoon.... TheDC linked to the two archived posts from blog.reidreport.com, Blitzers bias, and The flag bearers on Thursday, however the links were no longer functional by Friday afternoon. Trying to search either post gives the message Page cannot be displayed due to robots.txt.

Scrubbed like Obama’s records.....
How queer. Earlier she was saying they were forged/hacked. Then she finally apologizes for her hate speech.
“What difference does it make at this time anyhow?!!!”
No accountability from her employer (who’d taken her side in the claim that they were forged/hacked) and the effort has been on to bury the past since it conflicts with the present.
Orwellian Stalinist revisionist history by the populist press.
Peach 45!!! (hat tip to bray)
There was a well known NAACP leader in Mississippi that raped a minor and was convicted for statutory rape with another. When he died there was all sorts of laudatory remarks about him by elected officials and no one mentioned his crimes with underage females. The Internet that mentioned his crimes and conviction was scrubbed almost completely but was found after over 30 articles into the search as his apologists tried to bury it. This is the SOP for liberals and blacks.
OK, so evidently things can be made to go poof from Google, so the thing to do is to figure out how to make that work for more Americans and not simply for this one person.
From Wikipedia:
Historically, Wayback Machine respected the robots exclusion standard (robots.txt) in determining if a website would be crawled or not; or if already crawled, if its archives would be publicly viewable. Website owners had the option to opt-out of Wayback Machine through the use of robots.txt. It applied robots.txt rules retroactively; if a site blocked the Internet Archive, any previously archived pages from the domain were immediately rendered unavailable as well. In addition the Internet Archive stated, “Sometimes a website owner will contact us directly and ask us to stop crawling or archiving a site. We comply with these requests.”[39] In addition, the website says: “The Internet Archive is not interested in preserving or offering access to Web sites or other Internet documents of persons who do not want their materials in the collection.”[40] [41]
Except for Assange types who quickly get screenshots and freeze a page just about to be deleted by the guilty we would never know a lot of things.
The Soviets used to make people disappear such as scientists or former politburo members. Then they literally would send agents out to all libraries and archives and cut with razors or utility blades the mention of their name in all encyclopedias, almanacs, scientific journals and everywhere else. Amazing and quaint story about print, isn’t it?
Thank You :)
that was an overt act. they should revise their robots file to permit visibility to archive.org. The revision is evidence of wrongdoing.
If you are a member in good standing with The Party, The Party will send records of your sins down the Memory Hole.

Such cleanup services are called reputation defenders but actually they just whitewash the past and bury the skeletons.
Weve always been at war with Eastasia.
Notify her sponsors you notice what her employer has done.
Wow. She must have been “hacked”, ya’ think?
Right down the Memory Hole! /1984
