How about “Not keeping a round chambered unless in imminent danger”?

I carry as part of my profession. I am not a police officer. Departmental policy for most police forces and federal agencies require that the weapon be chambered. The military is the only exception.

And we know what kind of handjobs run those agencies. Actually, chambered is okay as long as there is a safety and it is engaged.
