” Once again so that you are sure to see it this time, the question was: What is the penalty for sin and how many sins are required before that penalty is incurred?”

You interposed yourself into a theological discussion. You were asked a simple theological question. You have avoided answering that question. Either you do not know the answer or you do not like the answer and thus are continuing to avoid and deflect.
The theological reasoning has nothing to do with the laws of Florida, Texas, New Jersey, the United States, or any other legal entity. THAT portion of the ‘argument’ has been adjudicated and the child rapist IS locked up and serving whatever sentence the earthly authorities have deemed is appropriate, whether or not you agree with their decision.
Since you have enjoined the theological discussion, let’s try this again as an attempt to ascertain the level of your theological understanding. The question is a simple question as theological questions go. It is readily answered from Scripture yet you either refuse to or cannot answer even when one of many possible locations was suggested.
The simple question still on the table is: What is the penalty for sin and how many sins are required before that penalty is incurred?
(You DO realize that this exchange has nothing to do with this child rapist, yes? It does, however, have a lot to do with Pharisaical types who think THEIR sin is scented with rosewater. Thus the question you have been asked is a generic question that applies to everyone - and in that sense it is also a personal question that applies to you. What is YOUR answer?)
