I don't think the city council is smart enough to realize this, but if the 'confiscators' are met with deadly force by gun owners as they apply the law, either 2 things happen. 1) The city backs off and reevaluates their decision. 2) If the gun owners acquiesce and turn-in their weapons, immediately other jurisdictions throughout the country will see this surrender by Deerfield gun owners as an invitation to enact the same ordinance in their communities.

Laws should be written so these council people are PERSONALLY RESPONSIBEL and face jail for passing such unconstitutional laws.
