California lawmakers are pushing numerous gun control measures including an expansion of confiscatory orders and limits on the number of firearms residents can buy each month.
Many of the lawmakers are claiming school shootings in Florida and Texas as the impetus for more gun control on law-abiding Californians.
The Mercury News reports that Assemblyman Rob Bonita (D-18) is pushing controls to bar 18-20-year olds from buying firearms. A companion bill, sponsored by State Sen. Anthony Portantino (D-25), passed the Senate earlier this week. Portantinos bill also puts a one-gun-a-month purchase limit in place for Californians.

“...There are millions of illegal weapons in the hands of otherwise law abiding citizens in CA....”
That’s good to know.
Multiply that across the other states and the commie assholes on the Left have a really big problem.
It should keep the peeing their beds every night.

That picture makes a nice Range Target.
Notice there’s not a single battle rifle/carbine among them?
Those idiots would/will sh*t themselves if/when they came up against real resistance.
People need to pay attention to whats happening in CA with gun control, because here is the blueplate for what the left means by moderate or sensible gun control, which is of course the complete ban of guns being held by citizens, and abrogation of the Second Amendment.
Thanks, but I have plenty.
I even have some 10 round mags in case I have to use the Ranch Rifle in conditions other than total collapse.
You’d be surprised how effective a Mini-14 is with a bunch of 10 round magazines.
And let’s not forget what a safe full of Mossberg 590s will do when backed by 2-3 cases of 00 buckshot. You could cut down a forest.
“Those idiots would/will sh*t themselves if/when they came up against real resistance.”
Maybe.
But they’d bleed out even quicker.
Ya mean like at the VA ?
:^) True dat...
Be glad to help them along.
Well see what happens once the law suits are settled
In reality, a one-gun-a-month limitation is more generous than Mrs. CommerceComet.
I know! My NRA instructor told me after the class that she was shocked when I told her what kind of gun I had. She said most women have .22s and .38s.
But, she didnt want to plant the seed in my head that it would be too much gun for me. So, I never knew any better and learned to shoot with it.
Its very heavy and the weight soaked up a lot of recoil. But, after getting proficient with that pup, everything else was easy! I spent a lot of time on the range with my beloved Megastar. Very dependable gun.
Great choice for home defense. I was single and living alone in those days. A former beau talked me into buying it. He never warned me about it either.
Wow. That sounds like a great class. Well probably take the eight hour course here in Tennessee for concealed carry. Our local gun shop offers a lot of training classes, which is really nice.
Sounds like yours was very tactical.
“.....shall not be infringed”. These folk are clueless or just plain want to follow only the Bill of Rights they like. Who in their right mind travel to Californiacation - never again (retired so certainly would not travel their of my own volition).
I don’t under stand the communists’ obsession with Americans owning guns. Oh, wait a minute. Yes I do. Communism won’t work with an armed populace.
Thas wha eim sain’
If I lived in a state that told me I could only buy one gun per month, I’d feel obligated to buy one gun per month. Every month.
