Making record numbers of appearances on various news outlets to the detriment of actually practicing law doesn't come cheap so the lawyer of porn star Stormy Daniels can use all the help he can get, especially from Democrats who think his off-scale grandstanding can somehow remove Trump from office. The June 1 New York Times in fact has reported that Avenatti has solicited money from Democrats in an article written by Kenneth Vogel, Stormy Daniels’s Lawyer Sought Help From Democrats in Fight With Trump:

Apparently Avenatti MAY have gotten an excon who sued for $28K and “forced” Avenatti’s firm into bankruptcy, so he could avoid a multi-million settlement against his firm.
It’s amazing this guy wasn’t disbarred a decade ago. It also looks like the media finally caught wind and are dumping this guy overboard. Stormy’s finished.

The legal fees are being sourced by the Crowd Justice Fund. So far it has raised $1/2 Mil by 15,383 donors which averages out to $32.50 per donor. I imagine there is some under the table donors like George Soros and Prince Alwaleed Bin Talal. It is all designed to take down President Trump through a technical lynching.
