The change will be voted on next week at the party's annual convention. Republicans would remove the phrase "based on marriage between a man and a woman" when talking about strong families in the 2018 platform.
“The prior sentence that said that was the only way to have a strong family; people felt excluded by that,” said Kyle Hupfer, the Indiana GOP Party chairman.

Sorry, but raising children, in a stable marriage, between a man and a woman, is BETTER for children.
Propaganda says otherwise, but all you have to do is look around you, to see that:
Grandparents, who are generally worn out after raising their own families, are not optimal for children.
Households where opposite sex parents aren't willing to "trap" themselves to the commitment of marriage, are not optimal for raising children.
Single parent households, are not optimal, for children.
LGBTQ parents are not optimal for children.

If you had told me 20 years ago that many, many schools would allow a "transgender" male to shower with biological females, I'd have said it would never happen. Not in a million years!
The "love that dare not speak its name" has become the "love all must bow down and worship". Homosexuality is innate from birth, yet genders are fluid and can change daily - and on one calls out the hypocrisy. In a large bicycle race held not far from me, the women's winner last year was a man.
If politics is all about following the crowd, rather than changing minds, then conservative thought is doomed. "For the gate is wide and the way is easy that leads to destruction, and those who enter by it are many."

Americans gradually grew to accept gays. Transgender acceptance is being forced on us. Even many liberals aren't thrilled about boys in the girls change rooms. As always, the Left is overplaying their hand.

Prop.8 passed by 52% in 2008 I think. In 2000 CA passed prop.22 by 61% or so. So the issue lost around 9% of support in 8 years in CA. If that trend remained steady a marriage amendment would only get around the low 40% ranges in support in CA today. I bet the trend actually accelerated though.
Not sure about the actual minority impact on this issue. Sure they don’t seem to like it, but so far I’m not sure there is anything concrete that can be pointed to a result of them acting on that dislike for the gay agenda.

I won’t even use the phrase without putting it in quotes; Americans were forced to publicly tolerate it, but most still can’t help but be sickened when they realize what one gay man does to another.
Some traditional groups figured supporting any type of pervert relationship structure might end the public restroom problems (it won’t).
A few years ago I saw the movie “Stakeland” on TV, and recently I tried to watch the sequel. When it showed two old queer men (a “mixed race couple”) in a normalized context, I shut it off; it was the most overt social engineering BS, and I don’t want that when I seek mindless violent entertainment. It is beyond not agreeing with it; they are peddling a myth by normalizing a serious, deadly mental illness.
On the other hand, I recently saw a public service short (from the early ‘60s, I believe) called “Boys Beware” - and it very clearly showed the dangers of adult homosexual men preying on teen boys. It described homosexuality as something “as dangerous and contagious as smallpox” - I kid you not. That whole view of the disease was changed for purely political reasons, nothing else. In terms of the threats posed, the movie (in black and white) could have been made yesterday - lurking around public restrooms, cruising near schools/sports fields, etc.
It is satanism/paganism from as far back as the Spartan lifestyle (Man/Boy “love”) (LOL)-—a “homosexual” (sodomite) culture where women were breeders only and boys were for sexual recreation/companionship. Like the Samurai “culture” and the Afghanistan “culture”—it is a worldview (a religion) where women have no worth and dignity-—except for procreation, but for the NWO, they want all biological connections destroyed-—for test tube babies, to destroy all Natural instincts and humanity (to create “bots” to be programmed and controlled from cradle to grave0.
Using others to sodomize them is only to dominate and control them-—it is always about control—never “love”. it is as the Holy Bible stated-—an evil, vile way to “look” at other humans which strips dignity, meaning and morality from mankind. That is why the evil Satanists are trying to normalize the behavior-—to destroy the Natural Family which will destroy all children raised in such an evil, dehumanizing “culture”.
There will never be a child raised in such a test tube way to understand Natural Law and Reality and Truth (God)-—they will be exactly like the people in 1984-—totally controlled and dehumanized (incapable of free will and reason (understanding Natural Law/science/Reality). Vice creates slaves for the state-—dumb, controllable people/serfs/slaves like in all sodomite cultures.
Women wish they were even valued as breeders in the West today; more and more men feel they have no use for breeding, and more and more women agree.
