More than a month ago, a Delano couple died when they crashed their truck while fleeing from immigration agents. The man and woman, who were in the country illegally, had not been the intended target of Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents.
Officials later said that the agents were trying to arrest another man and that Santos Hilario Garcia, who died in the crash, matched the description of their target.
On Wednesday, ICE arrested and deported the person they had been after: the dead mans brother, Celestino Hilario Garcia.
Celestino Hilario Garcia was leaving his apartment complex in a car with his wife and a neighbor when he was arrested by ICE deportation officers, according to the United Farm Workers Foundation, which has been working with the family. His wife and four children remain in Delano.

What part if ILLEGAL ALIEN don’t they understand. More sob stories to come.
These surly mestizos act as though CA is still Mexican territory. The USA kindly BOUGHT it from Mexico after the USA beat the snot out of Mexico in the Mexican-American War, a rare case in which a country was paid for land they lost in a war. Every last illegal should be deported from the USA. They have no right to be here.
OK, good. Next in line to go?
They should have a scooped up the rest of them during the funeral.

Oh well. Should more flight be encouraged?
Delano is about 40 miles north of Bakersfield actually this is central valley
Delano was ground zero for the migrant farmworker crisis and Cesar Chavez years ago.

He’ll sue us.
If they weren’t here illegally, they’d still be alive.
If they are people, then they know that there are laws. And when they intentionally break those laws they are criminals.
And if they dont want to be called animals then they should take responsibility for their choices. Having escaped mexifornia , most of them do act like animals. And that is a real put down to the animals I know, So actually they are much lower than animals.
One case of illegal flight from a crime and another of being in the country illegally.
If you don’t do the crime then the law wont be after you.
Liberal Sheep sell out their rights willingly by siding with the ‘victims’.
Stupid stupid sheep.
Too bad the brother wasn’t charged for the police effort to arrest his (deceased) brother running from the Federales.
I call this entire incident a 3-Fer.
That is one higher on the scale than a 2-Fer.
That entire area of California has unemployment rates of over 4-% & I don’t even want to think about what percentage of illegals are collecting welfare there.
I moved out of So Cal over 25 years ago because I no longer felt safe with the illegals. I sure won’t ever go back.
Good riddance to bad rubbish.
Three for the price of one.
Another good day in America.
“Check the plates” what a joke...illegals often have long expired plates- not even in their name. They buy vehicles and drive them with the seller’s plate, every trick in the book they play games. Checking the plates to know who owns a vehicle or who may be inside when you are dealing with criminals is not usually helpful.
I am sorry people died, sorry for their friends and family. It is in no way the fault of ICE agents who were doing their job. When a person decides to flee law enforcement under any circumstances it often does not end well.
Well that ‘Is’ the culture they come from they bring with them. Crime is not seen as that in their home country.....rather it’s each man for himself and his own. This is why the family unit is significant for them. It’s a means of survival in their home country.
In Africa and other 3rd world countries you simply take what you want and can get away with. They do so openly because there is no law and order for the most part.
