I was living in Mississippi in ‘63-’64, in the belly of the beast so to speak. Height of the civil rights turmoil. Race relations were a beautiful thing to behold. I vouchsafe in saying far better than in the north. But then came the filthy, rotten, northern trouble makers from New York, New Jersey, Massachussetts etc. and everything went to hell. Same scenario played out in other southern states. However, to this day I think relations are far better in the south then in the wretched big northern cities.

What do you suppose was their motivation for going down to Mississippi to stir up trouble? Couldn't they have worked on "Racism" problems in the very safe Democrat districts from which they came?
