Why do the gaysbians need a whole month, anyway?

June should be Serbian Heritage Month, NOT LGBT month!!!! It is also for weddings, graduations, and—often (but not in 2018)—Holy Pentecost! REALLY!!!!

This year, because Great and Holy Pascha was so early all of its associated days are likewise early....meaning that this coming Sunday is the Sunday of All Saints.

And what that means is that Monday is the beginning of the Apostles' Fast--and with an early Pascha this Fast will be at nearly maximum length of 24 days, a duration of nearly half of Great Lent.

Like all Orthodox Fasts, it is a time for subduing the passions rather than "celebrating" or reveling with "pride" about them.
