Meghan McCain has returned home to Arizona to be with her ailing father Senator John McCain just hours after expressing outrage over an old blog post by Joy Reid depicting him as a killer.
‘Going home to Arizona to be with my family - will be back on The View [on] Monday,’ Meghan McCain tweeted on Thursday.
‘Thank you again to everyone for sending some much love and support to my father, it truly means a lot.
‘And thank you for the compassion and understanding at this moment in time.’

Fascinating that a UK source reports on Megan “flying home” - I have seen no other reports of this. Now if her father is reported to die this weekend we gotta figure hes been gone for a while and they ran out the clock on an election.
