As Dr Sebastian Gorka just stated....imagine if ALL that POTUS has done, to date, had happened in the past 25 years.

Gorka is right.

Let’s see .... we have freed hostages...from TWO countries, denuke talks with NORKs, Unemployment lowest in DECADES....on and on.....the media would’ve trampled over themselves to glorify and detail such historic happenings.

With POTUS Trump? Nary a whisper of any of his great news is being reported.

Trump and Pompeo are such huge men standing next to the Kim Yong Chol...HE’s a very significant person in all this Jane....HUGE in N.Korea as handles the money, former I Chief of Intelligence and second only to Kim Un. The news has depicted him as part of the envoy but he’s a lot more than that.

So many possibilities up in the air...

Saw an article about what NK people want from this: just US aid.
Hadn’t thought about their wants. Well, I guess that’s what they’ve always gotten in the past.

For N. Korea, “conditions have changed: a new generation of leaders, more pressure from sanctions, and greater awareness of the outside world among N. Koreans... Moreover, talks at the leaders level have simply never been tried before.

N.Koreas nuclear arsenal has been their ‘black mail” for the International community to keep feeding them and propping up the regime...because they cannot survive otherwise. Only about 20% of the land is available to cultivate crops, all done basically by hand.

They are basically a welfare state for the people as everything the International Leaders sends goes through the leadership then the army before any gets to the people. Their army is ‘skinny’ now as the sanctions are working...

Kim has no choice really he has to do this..and frankly I think he’s had enough......

S. Korean defense secretary Song Young-moo:

"The U.S. government, especially President Trump’s strong leadership, has been a great

support in…setting the current atmosphere of dialogue."............"In seeking closer inter-Korean

relations, "the Moon Jae-in administration will not repeat the same mistakes of the past."......

"A Nobel prize for president Trump and peace for the Korean Peninsula," Song Youngmoo tells SLD18 delegates.

'Japanese' Defense Minister Itsunori Onodera:

says top priority is to continue to maintain maximum pressure against N. Korea......warns SLD18 audience:

"NorthKorea has been 'conciliatory and forthcoming' in the past, only to backtrack. 'I believe that it is important not to reward North Korea solely for agreeing to have a dialogue."

Repeatedly in his remarks, Japanese Defense Minister Onodera has mentioned the threat of N. Korea's ballistic missiles ..."of all flight ranges"....in other words, not just ICBMs.

Canadian Defense Minister Harjit Sajjan:

"Anything short of complete, verifiable and irreversible denuclearization is unacceptable."....A nuclear N. Korea is not only a regional threat, it poses a real and growing global threat."

calls for caution on N. Korea's recent pledges: "N. Korea has failed to deliver on its promises in the past."

fully supports" global sanctions against N. Korea, and calls for international cooperation to crack down on Pyongyang's sanctions evasion.

We cannot accept N. Korea as a nuclear state…the complete verifiable irreversible denuclearization of N. Korea is the only acceptable outcome."

Q: If there are no nuclear weapons in S. Korea, why does N. Korea keep insisting on denuclearization of the Korean peninsula?

S. Korean Defense Minister Song:

“N. Korea understands there are nuclear threats that exist around the peninsula.”

Q: If N. Korea retains shorter-range ballistic missiles, will that be acceptable?

S. Korean Defense Minister Song:

“As N. Korea forms diplomatic ties with the free world, such threats will dissipate over time.”

S. Korean Defense Minister Song Young-moo, on whether N. Korea would continue to develop shorter-range missiles after a deal:

“There is no reason for them to continue to develop a weapon that they can’t use, because they can use those resources for economic development.”

S. Korean Defense Minister Song calls on the global community to stop being so suspicious of N. Korea’s motives and aims.

“If we continue to suspect his motives, then any moves towards those goals will be hindered by those suspicions.”

What’s changed is China can profit more from exploiting a peaceful NK than by using it as a military threat.
Trump’s forcing China to change NK sooner than it wants, but it’s still in their interest.

Nice reports!
