I loved those army men when I was a kid. Had multiple wars and my guys always won!
We’ve lived in our current home for 16+ years.

I have a permanent remembrance of those plastic army men.
Seems they melt in very impressive burning droplets at dusk, as they zzzziiiip into the water of a flowing irrigation row.
And once, my knee got in the way and the scar is there nearly 60 years later.
I am guilty of crimes against plastic-humanity for the way I treated my army men.
Same here. Then the first gen G.I. Joe arrived one Christmas and the little guys were almost entirely forgotten! It was almost as cool as my Mattel M-16 ‘full-auto sound’ toy gun!
