Hours after the White House pummeled comedienne Bee for calling Ivanka Trump a 'feckless c***' on national television Wednesday night, the ''Full Frontal' host complained at an awards dinner that she shouldn't have been criticized at all.
'We spent the day wrestling with the repercussions of one bad word,' Bee groused as the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences gave her an award at the NeueHouse Hollywood for 'programming that advanced social change.' Reporters were banned from covering the event in person, but DailyMail.com obtained a transcript of her brief remarks.
She said that instead of venting their outrage at her insult of the president's daughter, 'we all should have spent the day incensed that as a nation we are wrenching children from their parents.'

So, in other words, if Roseanne Barr had used this slur in describing Valerie Jarrett instead of the slur she used, she would still have her show, 200 people employed by it would still have their jobs, and she would have been “honored” by the Hollywood outfit that presents the Emmys?
Whenever women use uniquely female insults for each other (slamming looks or sexualizing the other), it is for male approval. I've done it myself, so I'm going to try to stop, but until all women stop it, we will never be equal. It's not tax-payer funded abortion and child care that will make us equal. It's ceasing this tendency to set one another on fire so men will applaud us for the blaze.

being consistent, Bee should be able to say whatever she wishes... should there be consequences... i will not watch her, i am not one for a public campaign to demonize anyone for what they say... unlike the left.

She should be fired, but it's actually best if she isn't - hypocrisy on display hurts their cause.
One thing about this, it reminds me of the decades of b.s. from liberals that “if only he had said he was sorry” “he apologized in the courtroom” and so on. It was the magic get out of jail free card for years. Just say you are sorry and it goes away like their mommies kissed their hurt knee and put a Scooby Doo bandaid on it. Paragraphs of news stories used to center upon “will he say he’s sorry in the courtroom later today”.
Then if right wingers tried it they said “saying you’re sorry won’t take away the harm to....”
