Most homosexuals were sexually molested as children.

I have read about some studies that make just such a point. I also read an executive summary of a study that stated children who had overbearing mothers and weak fathers had a higher incidence of homosexuality. I had two cousins from that type of family and they both became homosexuals.

They were fine as children but became strange as they matured while their mother smothered them and refused to let them date girls or even play sports.

Think of these children. They are often loners, they are not interested in the things boys are in to so they become isolated. Isolated means they are vulnerable. Predators sense this and maneuver their victims further. Men do this to grown women too.

I just cannot believe little heterosexual boys can be converted to want a %%%%% up their anuses. Just can't. Maybe because I'm a flaming heterosexual!

Overbearing, controlling, manipulative mothers were blamed in the mid-20th century. Afterwards more blame was put on the weak or absent or "shadowy" fathers.

Nowadays, it's easier for young people to "discover" that they're homosexual. There's a lot of exposure to sex and pornography and those who don't respond to the opposite sex are more likely to conclude that they're homosexual early on.

I think parents today tend to correspond less to the old stereotypes. You can point to the mother as "overbearing" or the father as "shadowy" or ineffectual, but it takes a lot less of that to make boys homosexual nowadays. So even in families who take care to avoid the old behaviors, children grow up gay.
