I guess these doc’s haven’t seen the latest ‘Death Wish’ movie with Bruce Willis (a doctor) who understands the value of a firearm in the hands of someone who knows how to use one.
These doctors just need some range time, training, and experience. They will shape right up then.

A study (2017) published in the British Medical Journal (BMJ) has found that medical malpractice or error accounts for approximately 250,000 deaths annually in the United States – ranking as the third leading cause of death, right behind cancer and heart disease.
Researchers from Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine calculated that medical errors cause nearly 700 deaths per day; 9.5% of all deaths in the United States on a yearly basis. Incompetent doctors, complications from surgery, miscommunication, misdiagnosis, and general poor judgement can all be factors that result in medical errors, but unfortunately, there is not accurate data that specifically pinpoints an over-arching cause, and the actual amount of deaths due to medical negligence could be higher.
I wonder how many people die from bad surgeries. Probably more than gun violence. How about not leaving surgical instruments inside the body before closing up.

I flat don't believe that and won't believe that until the AMA or some other gun control loving group produces a list with at least two linked news articles about each shooting. What a bunch of crap.
They should be pushing lowering doctor and hospital fees and stay the f*** out of politics.
The docs always have something of a superiority complex, even on subjects they know nothing about.
