Conservatives on Twitter lashed out following the swift cancellation of Roseanne Barr's hit ABC program after here racist tweet, citing a double-standard in entertainment for those who are conservative or support President Trump.
The right-leaning critics took particular aim at ESPN’s decision to hire Keith Olbermann and MSNBC’s continued employment of Joy Reid. Both have made provocative comments in the past.
ABC canceled Barr’s show after she wrote a tweet that referred to former Obama senior adviser Valerie Jarrett as a product of the “The Planet of the Apes” and “the Muslim Brotherhood.”
Olbermann was recently hired by ESPN for the sixth time, signing a new deal earlier this month with the Disney-owned network, which also owns ABC.
Some conservatives on Twitter quickly pointed to Olbermann calling President Trump a Nazi on multiple occasions on social media.

They can't see their bias because they don't believe there is any.
In their bubble, Olbermann is just reporting the truth about Trump.

Roseanne may have a wrongful termination suit against ABC. She may be able to prove that other on air personalities were not punished even though they made equally obnoxious statements both on and off the air. I’m just sayin’.
I think you’re right although I’m not following this closely at all. She doesn’t appear to want to take it any further.
She also was not on Network time although I believe in their contracts there are some stipulations of their conduct in public etc.

It is hypocrisy but pointing it out to a lib is a waste of time. They are not self aware. It is an animal that knows and reacts to its needs but cannot reflect upon its own conduct.

Kathy Griffin may not get as much TV in the US as she once did, but she’s in the print media all the time, and BBC chose to give her plenty of air-time last October, which would have helped publicise her tour, no doubt.
BBC Hardtalk presenter, Stephen Sackur, makes a habit of interrupting his guests constantly, mid-sentence and all, and yet he doesn’t say boo while Griffin says the following:

Griffin: you don’t just go to Afghanistan unless you are patriotic, you don’t do stand-up in Uzbekistan and Kuwait and Iraq, if you are not patriotic, so of course I’m a patriot. I’m more of a patriot than those Nazi Trumps on a good day and, yes, I think our President is a Nazi. I think that people should be very frightened. I think there’s an actual Nazi, at least someone with Nazi leanings, in the White House. wake up.

If it weren’t for double-standards leftists wouldn’t have any standards at all. Not just a glib shot at liberals, it is seriously the truth. They have no standards.
She hasn’t said anything about this..... Yet. I think she may feel that ABC will change their minds. Not likely. If not Roseanne then perhaps someone else associated with the show. There is a ton of money involved and where there is money you’ll find lawyers. I’m just sayin’.
Well yeah, it’s like when ESPN cut Curt Schilling and Hank Williams Jr. for conservative views, while others at their channel can rant and rave with all sorts of outrageous liberal statements and nothing happens.
Both ABC and ESPN are owned by Disney too.
