Kathy Griffin may not get as much TV in the US as she once did, but she’s in the print media all the time, and BBC chose to give her plenty of air-time last October, which would have helped publicise her tour, no doubt.
BBC Hardtalk presenter, Stephen Sackur, makes a habit of interrupting his guests constantly, mid-sentence and all, and yet he doesn’t say boo while Griffin says the following:
20mins20secs: Sackur asks if she is patriotic:
Griffin: you don’t just go to Afghanistan unless you are patriotic, you don’t do stand-up in Uzbekistan and Kuwait and Iraq, if you are not patriotic, so of course I’m a patriot. I’m more of a patriot than those Nazi Trumps on a good day and, yes, I think our President is a Nazi. I think that people should be very frightened. I think there’s an actual Nazi, at least someone with Nazi leanings, in the White House. wake up.

I’m sharing my full interview on BBC’s HARDtalk because while it has been viewed by a large worldwide audience, most people in the US have not seen it. It was my first serious, non-talk show, interview since May 31, 2017. Remember this all happened to me pre-Weinstein pre-women really starting to break their silence. Hope you’ll take a look as I believe it reflects what I have to say about this moment in our cultural and political history.

earlier, at 8mins15secs, Griffin says: now that he is accidentally the President through cheating, gerrymandering, etc...
btw what an ugly headline from CTV:
Kathy Griffin keeping her head up with world comedy tour
CTV News-22 May 2018
Comedian Kathy Griffin is turning to the friendly grounds of Canada for her world redemption tour
“now that he is accidentally the President through ...gerrymandering”
Those damned racist state borders...
