It’s was called leading from behind. You let someone else do the dirty work and if successful take credit for it and if not, blame the other party.
And the Army takes on a supporting role in a cast of thousands.
I suspect that the restrictive Rules of Engagement (ROE) imposed by the Obama Administration has a lot to do with it.
Takes time for the “comfort zone” you know that.
